URGENT NEWS
The FDA Safety Information about Erectile Dysfunction drugs

Barodon SF and FDA notified consumers and healthcare professionals of a voluntary nationwide recall of a supplement product sold under the name V.MAX. Lab analysis by FDA of product samples found the product contains Aminotadalafil, an analogue of Tadalafil, an FDA-approved drug used to treat Erectile Dysfunction (ED). FDA advised that this poses a threat to consumers because Aminotadalafil may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs (such as nitroglycerin) and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates. Consumers who have V.MAX in their possession should stop using it immediately and contact their physician if they experienced any problem that may be related to taking this product.

Since the late 1990s, the production and distribution of erectile dysfunction drugs has become a multi-billion dollar industry. In the United States alone, Erectile Dysfunction (ED) affects 10-15 percent of all males, and can be emotionally and psychologically disabling for men and their partners. Unfortunately, many drug companies employed a "market and distribute first, ask questions later" mentality that prevented them from fully understanding the potential damage ED drugs like Viagra, Cialis and Levitra could cause.

In March of 1998, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Viagra, the first pill to treat ED. Since that time, Levitra and Cialis have also been approved. Additional oral medicines are being tested for safety and effectiveness. Taken an hour before sexual activity, these drugs work by enhancing the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical that relaxes smooth muscles in the penis during sexual stimulation and allows increased blood flow. Unfortunately, some ED patients have had incredibly traumatic experiences, as misinformation in regards to the potency of the drug and/or its effects when combined with another medication have led to situations that require immediate medical treatment.

If you have suffered an unfavorable reaction to ED drugs, then you should strongly consider taking legal action against those who are responsible. Understanding the effects of Erectile Dysfunction-related drugs is imperative for anyone looking to correct their condition. Qualified and compassionate sexual dysfunction drug lawyer can help fight for the compensation you deserve in the wake of significant personal and professional trauma.
