BREAKING NEWS: LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – A 12-year-old boy died after riding a roller coaster Thursday at the Disney MGM theme park, the Orange County sheriff's office said.

Sometime the “ Magic Kingdom” is less than magic. Disneyworld is exempt from federal oversight because of the so-called “rollercoaster loophole” that mandates only individual states have the power to inspect amusement parks with permanent rides.

Combined with the Florida law that states no company with more than 1000 employees has to report ever accident that happens, Disneyworld could be the site of some of the most dangerous rides in the nation.
